Our Story

Toorumbee Timbers began as a natural extension of our life on the land.

We live off-grid in Toorumbee in the Macleay Valley, where our days are shaped by the seasons—growing food, raising animals, and building what we need with our own hands.

What started as making practical items for our own homestead has grown into something we wanted to share.

Our timber pieces are inspired by necessity:

  • versatile baskets for gathering and cleaning harvests

  • durable kitchenware

  • tools that feel good in your hands

  • boards to share and enjoy food with people you love

We believe in making fewer, better things—items that are useful, long-lasting, and connected to a slower way of living.

We Value

Simplicity
We focus on what’s essential—no excess, just honest craftsmanship.

Function First
Everything we make is designed to be used, not just admired.

Connection to Land
Our work reflects the rhythms and realities of homestead life.
